Uncle Keith's Storymaker
OK, here is the deal. I thought this would be kind of fun to try. I have written the first paragraph of a short story. I have left the plot, etc. kind of vague so that it opens itself up for more interaction from us as we write. Your job, should you chose to accept it, is to read the story so far, and then, submit your version of the next segment (paragraph, chapter, whatever). Use the input code at the end of 'the story so far' so that I know what part of the story you are submitting into. I will credit each writer whose work goes into the story. My job is to sort through what I recieve back, chose which segment I think works best, and add it to the story. This will keep going until . . . Who knows...
Rules for submission:
Have fun with it, the only limit on content - No Pornography .

The Story So Far
He looked down from his vantage point on the hill at the town in which he was raised, got married, walked his children to school. The town looked so small from here yet the events of the last month magnified the little community of 3000 people in his mind and it felt to him like a striving metropolis was swallowing him up with it's towering skyscrapers. It was amazing how a month could change a man. But he wondered, was it he who changed?
He walked several yards across the top of the hill to the cemetary and stopped before entering through the cast-iron gates. He knew he had to make one last visit here before walking away from everything.
