Page Explanation
As a parent and a human being, I was very disturbed by the masacre at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. I've spent the last week trying (as the rest of the world has) to understand how and why this could have happened. I've also thought about what I could do, outside of the active role that I've already taken in my own children's lives, to help prevent this type of situation to happen again. I've decided to use this web page as a way of passing on information, links, articles, thoughts, etc. on all of the issues that have (or will) come to light from the Columbine High School shooting. These include but are not limited to:
Parenting, Gun Control, Peer Pressure, Violence in Media, etc.
I will try to provide information on all sides of these issues but I will not play into "Political Correctness" and pretend I don't have my own opinions. I could use all of the input I can get to get this page working.
